The Orlando Oranges struggled at the plate against Choppers hurler Theophilus Markoullides, who shackled them on 6 hits while hurling a complete-game 5-0 shutout.

"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Oranges skipper David Trujillo in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."

Markoullides finished the game with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in an excellent mound performance.

"He pitched real well," Milwaukee manager Rudy Forrest said. "Theophilus made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."

So far this year, Markoullides has compiled a 9-6 record with a 4.58 ERA.
