The Bikini Krill got a sterling performance from pitcher Arturo Meza, but the Yellow Springs Nine still prevailed, 6-4. Meza threw 5.1 innings allowing 2 runs. Barney Lindsay earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record is now 4-6. Cory McGuire earned the save, his 8th.

With no one out in the top of the eighth, Carlos Hernández had a game-changing hit. The Nine right fielder slammed a 2-run single off Félix Vidaca, making the score 4-1, Yellow Springs.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Hernández told the Yellow Springs Times.

The victory gives Yellow Springs a record of 34-30.
