The Brook Park Brownies cut down the Long Beach Surfers by the score of 11-5, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Austin Nolan. Nolan was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Brownies. Brook Park pitcher Oscar O'Halloran earned the win, hiking his record to 4-3. Ragnvard Lamm suffered the loss. The win has Brook Park at 27-39.

Nolan had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a 2-run single. The Brownies went on to win.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Nolan told the Brook Park Herald.
