New Orleans Dismisses Boise, 4-0
|
The New Orleans Crawdads downed the Boise Spuds, 4-0, at F. Nephi Grigg Memorial Stadium. New Orleans pitcher Leland Rogers definitely brought his A-game. The losing streak for Boise has now reached 5 games.
New Orleans used a big swing from Ma'n bin Fawzi to get the win. The second baseman walloped a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Crawdads up, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.
Afterward, Boise manager Mario Contreras said: "We've hit a rough patch."
