The London Monarchs earned a close win over the Athens Fighting Centaurs, thanks in part to Mustafa Derbil. The London left-hander, who is a two-time All-Star, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Derbil, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. London, with the win, is 2-1.
