Flores goes 4-for-5, Leads Cyclones to Win
The Omaha Cyclones stopped the Portland Lumberjacks, 13-9, behind an impressive performance from Juan Flores. The 28-year old shortstop made life miserable for Portland pitching. He went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 5. Troy Andrews, 3-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4.1 innings. Picking up the save was Dave Ferrell, his 14th.

In the bottom of the fifth, Jorge Delgado delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Omaha center fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Cyclones in front, 13-9.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Delgado. "Those qualities define our team."

Omaha now sits at 30-40, while Portland falls to 28-42.
