The Charlotte Flyers grabbed a win, 6-5, over the Boise Spuds at Family Dollar Field. Charlotte second baseman Tommy Anderson went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 4 times. Charlotte, at 42-29, sits in third place in the Johnson League Atlantic Division.

José Vargas was the walk-off hero for Charlotte. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Flyers right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
