The Bikini Krill beat the Chicago Black Sox, 13-5, at Forever Field. Al Schumann, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Krill, at 31-40, sit in 6th place in the Frick League Pacific Division.

With Bikini leading 9-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Schumann came up to bat against Chicago pitcher Juan Cruz. Schumann hit a changeup to right for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Krill on top, 12-2.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Schumann told the Bikini Chronicle. "It's as simple as that."
