Rosenblatt Slaps 5-3 Loss on Montreal
|
Marvin Winston, who finished 2nd in the FL in wins with 17 in 2048, was locked in. The right-hander led the Rosenblatt Bombers to a 5-3 win against the Montreal Blazers at Ubisoft Field. Winston picked up the win for Rosenblatt, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 5-4. Candrata Parmar finished the game for Rosenblatt and earned his 13th save.
Rosenblatt relied on the bat of Badr Isam to get the win. The shortstop ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the second inning to put the Bombers ahead, 2-1. For the game, Isam had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Rosenblatt manager Marquise Cattaneo.
Rosenblatt has rattled off 4 straight wins.
