Mexico City Aztecs starter Tim Gingras was in midseason form, as he helped his team beat the Charm City Jimmies, 7-0. The loss makes Charm City 46-27.

Mexico City used a well-timed hit by Edmond Spits to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Aztecs ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Spits.
