London got a terrific performance from pitcher Román Rodríguez, but it wasn't enough to beat the Sao Paulo Pilots. Sao Paulo won the Ballpark of Bucharest contest, 4-3. Rodríguez threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. London falls to 7-6.

Sao Paulo got a game-changing hit from Ulvi Basgil. The left fielder blasted a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

Basgil called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
