Hebrew Hammers Score Late, Top Brisas, 6-4
|
Hebrew Hammers second baseman Han-wu Ku left his imprint on his team's 6-4 win over the Buenos Aires Brisas. Ku was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for Jerusalem in the contest. The Brisas, now 7-18, continue their inauspicious start.
Jerusalem took a 5-4 lead on Domingo Pérez's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Pérez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Buenos Aires pitcher Cahyo Muljana visibly frustrated.
Jerusalem manager Alfredo Cuellar commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
