The Tokyo Pearls soundly defeated the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers, 12-0, at The Holy Land. Reko Kelander, who is tied for 9th in the GBC EA in home runs with 4, let his bat do the talking. He hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times for Tokyo. The winning pitcher was Jayin Ranjani. His record now stands at 1-1. The left-hander went 5.1 innings, allowing no runs on 7 hits for the Pearls. The loss puts Jerusalem at 13-13.

In the first inning, Kelander had a solo home run for Tokyo. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Pearls on top, 2-0.
