Endo, Thunder Bears Put Clamps on Pearls
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Moscow Thunder Bears and the Tokyo Pearls, pitcher Yoshino Endo was the difference between victory and defeat. The Moscow right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-0 Thunder Bears win. Riyadi Subandrio closed it out for his 9th save. Tokyo falls to 18-12.
Endo yielded no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings for the Thunder Bears. For the season, Endo has a record of 2-1 with 19 strikeouts.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Endo.
