Pharaohs Fall Short, 4-3, at Jerusalem
|
Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers right-hander Ed Noble pitched a good game against the Cairo Pharaohs at The Holy Land, leading his team to victory, 4-3. Noble yielded 3 runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-1. Fernando Camacho closed it out for his 8th save.
Jerusalem took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Javier Manuel hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Hebrew Hammers.
Manuel called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
