London Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The London Monarchs powered past the Tokyo Pearls, 8-6, at London Stadium. Amin Asim provided some of the pop. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. London reliever Ron McLeish picked up the win, raising his record to 2-2. Rodney Keeley was tagged with the loss. The win takes London to 15-16.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With London trailing 6-5, Asim jumped on a fastball from 36-year old right-handed pitcher Rodney Keeley and hit a 3-run home run to left. With one swing, the Monarchs had a walk-off win.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Asim said in his postgame press conference.
