Hebrew Hammers Knock Off Sharks, 5-3
|
Jerusalem parlayed a decent outing from starter Keneki Umina into a solid win over the Sydney Sharks. The final score was 5-3. The Hebrew Hammers saw their win-loss record go to 21-18. At the same time, the Sharks fell to 15-24.
Second Baseman Carl McIndoe made an impact for Jerusalem, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Na'il Tamir in the bottom of the third. For the contest, McIndoe went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Good win," said McIndoe. "Maybe some of the whiners in the clubhouse will pipe down for a little while now."
