Right-hander Millard MacIndeor mesmerized the London Monarchs while leading the Buenos Aires Brisas to a 1-0 victory. MacIndeor, now 5-0, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The Brisas go to 20-18, putting them second in the GBC AfSAmOc Division.

The Monarchs had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Brisas going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the slugging right fielder Leonard Jackson came to the plate. Jackson hit a solo home run on a first pitch fastball from London hurler Fassil Maundu. It was Jackson's 7th home run of the year.

"Millard is a tough competitor," said Buenos Aires manager Yao-qing Yuan.
