The London Monarchs extended their winning streak.

Riding the 2-hit performance of the 16-year veteran Sammy McNeill, the London Monarchs stopped the Buenos Aires Brisas, 5-2, in 9 innings. Connor Hetherington sewed up the save, his 4th.

With London leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, McNeill hit a fastball from Ed Curry for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Monarchs ahead, 4-0.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Yao-qing Yuan.

London leads the GBC EurAsia by 10½ games.
