Riding the 3-hit performance of the 14-year veteran Okyay Nisancî, the Atlantic City Gamblers stopped the Mexico City Aztecs, 9-2. The 7th-place Gamblers have won 5 in a row.

Carlos Allen had a big 2-run double for the Gamblers in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Atlantic City leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from former first round draft pick Dvimurdhan Sameer and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 13th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Gamblers ahead, 5-2.

Said losing manager Markus O'Byrne: "Give the Gamblers credit. They played a better game than we did."
