Brooklyn Gets 7-4 Win Against Crawdads
Alfredo Trujillo was a major factor in the 7-4 Brooklyn win over New Orleans. The Robins designated hitter was 2 for 2 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Stephen Best picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-5. He struck out 5 in 6.2 innings. Cade Miller earned the save for Brooklyn, his 31st of the year.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Robins grabbed the lead when Chao Yuan rapped a two-out single. Brooklyn was trailing 4-3, when Yuan hit a 2-run single off Ed Smith to put his team in front, 5-4.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Robins manager Wilford Coffey. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."

The Robins now own a record of 56-91.
