Austin Charts 3-1 Win Over San Antonio
The Austin Shredders defeated the San Antonio Outlaws, 3-1. Right Fielder Takanobu Komatsu deserved a large share of the credit. Komatsu went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Shredders. Chris Lacey picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 5-5. Adrián Fox suffered the loss. Nelson Middlebrooks notched his 28th save in 37 chances.

Komatsu had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Adrián Fox, he banged a 2-run double to left-center, giving the Shredders a 3-1 lead. It was the 22nd double of the year for Komatsu.

Komatsu attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."

The last-place Shredders have won 4 in a row.
