The Vancouver Mounties picked up a win at Mordonez Ballpark, knocking off the Omaha Cyclones, 4-3. Starting pitcher Juan García was a big reason why. The win belonged to Serge Elovsky in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Jesús Huerta took the loss for Omaha. This win makes it 5 in a row for Vancouver.

Amphibian Johnson, who finished 5th in the FL in hits with 195 in 2057, had a direct impact on the outcome. Johnson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Vancouver up, 4-3.

"It was a good effort all around," said Johnson.
