Spuds Deal Outlaws 9-7 Loss
The Boise Spuds and San Antonio Outlaws duked it out at The Tap Room.

The Boise Spuds knocked off the San Antonio Outlaws, 9-7, at The Tap Room. It took 12 innings. Bill Kuhn was a prime reason Boise won. The third baseman slugged 3 home runs, while scoring 4 and driving in 3. After today's action, Boise sits at 67-84; San Antonio slips to 67-84.

Boise needed the clutch hitting of Tsutomu Yamauchi to seal the deal. The right fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Spuds on top, 8-7. For the game, Yamauchi had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Mario Contreras.
