The Bikini Krill picked up a win at Vito Costantino Memorial Stadium, knocking off the Long Beach Surfers, 5-3. Starting pitcher Paul Glass was a big reason why. The winner was Glass. He threw 6.2 innings allowing 3 runs. The loser was Yurochka Erenkov. Winston Morris got credit for the save for Bikini. It was his 38th of the year.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Keith Williams? The Bikini shortstop had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Krill on top, 4-2. For the game, Williams had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Bikini manager Kate Fiscus.
