Moscow Thunder Bears starter Brick Pollitt worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Sydney Sharks, 5-1. Pollitt, the winner, moves to 3-4. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 1 walk. The Thunder Bears now have a record of 13-30.
The Thunder Bears got a clutch hit from Safwan bin Kedar with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. bin Kedar jumped on a 1-1 fastball from Jean-Sébastien Mangin and hit a 2-run single, staking his club to a 5-1 lead.
