Hideaki Ohayashi impressed in the 9-3 Portland win over Valencia. Ohayashi, who finished 2nd in the FL in triples with 10 in 2059, went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times. The 6th-place Lumberjacks improved to 74-80.

Ohayashi contributed in the top of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Portland get the win.
