|
The Twin Cities River Monsters took on the Yellow Springs Nine at Utopia Field.
Twin Cities starter Erik Brooks pitched well against the Yellow Springs Nine at Utopia Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-3. Getting the save was Jorge Durán, his 19th.
Raúl Gallehos drew 3 walks for Twin Cities. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Dewey Harris. It was his 44th walk of the season.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Gallehos.
The second-place River Monsters go to 98-57.
