River Monsters Use Late Rally to Win
The Twin Cities River Monsters handed the Yellow Springs Nine a 6-4 defeat at Utopia Field. First Baseman Parker Clontz starred for Twin Cities. He was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Andrés Gonzáles picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 13-3. Byron Ratcliffe was tagged with the loss. The River Monsters improved their record to 99-57 by beating Yellow Springs.

Clontz had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Byron Ratcliffe, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the River Monsters a 5-4 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Clontz.

Twin Cities manager Gerald Brandt commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
