The Twin Cities River Monsters and Sacramento Mad Popes completed their game despite the inclement weather.

Twin Cities left fielder Randall Gray was instrumental in helping the River Monsters triumph, 6-1, over the Sacramento Mad Popes. Gray belted 2 home runs. Twin Cities reliever Rubén Flores was the winner. His record is now 4-0. The losing pitcher was Don Jordan.

Mathew Malone, who is tied for 6th in the FL in runs scored with 52, chipped in a 2-run home run for Twin Cities in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.

"The team always comes first," Gray told a reporter while responding to autograph requests. "Our fans like to come out to see a win, so I'm happy to do what I can to give them that."
