Despite a fine performance by right fielder Pedro Aguilar, the Twin Cities River Monsters lost to the Valencia Stars, 11-8. Aguilar went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. Dave Furman earned the save, his 13th. The last-place Stars own a record of 24-53.
