Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers pitcher Leo Hill was all business, helping his team muzzle the London Monarchs, 2-1. Hill yielded 1 run over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 2-2. Jerusalem sits in second place in the GBC EurAsia at 26-22.
Fares Bruyère had a big solo home run for the Hebrew Hammers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Jerusalem leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a sinker from Félix Vallés and swatted a home run to center. It was his 7th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hebrew Hammers ahead, 2-0.
