Sepúlveda, Pearls March to 6-3 Victory

Led by Vicente Sepúlveda, the Tokyo Pearls downed the Athens Fighting Centaurs, 6-3. Sepúlveda was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Pearls. Feheen MacKenrick was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 5 save opportunities. Tokyo is now 47-24, while Athens is 26-46.
With the game tied, 2-2, in the top of the sixth, Sepúlveda had a key at-bat for Tokyo. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Sepúlveda hit a run-scoring single off Don Jones, making the score 3-2, Pearls.
