Zombies Rally Late to Clip Montreal
The Jacksonville Zombies defeated the Montreal Blazers by the score of 10-9, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Patrick Strolz. Strolz went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Zombies on the day. Jacksonville reliever Victor Braden was the winner. His record is now 8-4. The losing pitcher was Jorge Trinidad. After today's action, Jacksonville sits at 79-82; Montreal slips to 90-71.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Jacksonville shortstop Pepe Aragón, facing Jorge Trinidad, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Zombies the 10-9 win.

"It was a test of wills," said Shoiab Kardar, the Jacksonville skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
