Spuds Score 7-2 Win Against Austin
|
Tsutomu Yamauchi had a 3-RBI game, during Boise's 7-2 triumph over the Austin Shredders. Yamauchi contributed 2 singles and 1 home run to the cause. The Spuds now own a record of 72-90.
Damodaragoun Neela had a big 3-run home run for the Spuds in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Boise leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a sinker from Mus'ad Amr and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 6th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Spuds ahead, 5-1.
Said losing manager David Pinto: "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."
