Forever Field was the site of a tense game between the Hawaii Tropics and Bikini Krill.

Bikini registered a win at Forever Field by beating the Hawaii Tropics, 2-1. Pitcher Steve Truss was one reason why the Krill triumphed. The winning pitcher was Truss, now 1-0. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Krill had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when left fielder Glen Branham hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Martín García and made the score 2-0, Krill. Branham was 1 for 3.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Rich Kerr.

The 6th-place Krill hiked their record to 78-84.
