Kuhn Pops Two Homers in 12-7 Win for Boise
Boise third baseman Bill Kuhn was instrumental in helping the Spuds triumph, 12-7, over the Brooklyn Robins. Kuhn belted 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. The Spuds, at 39-41, sit in 4th place in the Johnson League Frontier Division.

Boise used the hitting of Pedro Hozven to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Spuds on top, 3-0. For the game, Hozven had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

Spuds manager Mario Contreras wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
