Monarchs Suffer 5-1 Setback
Getting a good performance from second baseman Gonzalo Morales, the Sydney Sharks defeated the London Monarchs, 5-1. Morales was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Sharks. The winner in relief was Chung Chan. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings.
