The Buenos Aires Brisas knocked off the Moscow Thunder Bears, 5-3, in Global Baseball Consortium action at Estadio Rico. Buenos Aires pitcher and Burbank (Los Angeles County), California, native Millard MacIndeor had an outstanding performance. Ed Curry got the save, his 28th in 33 chances. Buenos Aires has run its win streak to 4 straight.

Amin Abdul-Halim had a big 2-run double for the Brisas in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Buenos Aires leading 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Samuel Vankrimpen, who is tied for 10th in the GBC in quality starts with 11, and swatted a double to right. It was his 27th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Brisas ahead, 4-1.
