Nine Rally Late to Nip Bears
The Yellow Springs Nine racked up a win at Utopia Field, bumping off the San Fernando Bears, 4-3. Héctor Delgado, who started for Yellow Springs, pitched effectively for his team. Yellow Springs reliever Heng-zong Tang picked up the win to move to 6-2. Steve Fuller suffered the loss. Yellow Springs now sits at 36-44, while San Fernando falls to 40-40.

Yellow Springs took a 4-3 lead on Carlos Hernández's 12th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Hernández hit in the bottom of the eighth, left San Fernando pitcher Steve Fuller visibly frustrated.

"Both teams played hard," said Yellow Springs manager Bill Inkster.
