Big Day by Trujillo Ignites Bears Win
Bears catcher Manny Trujillo put his stamp on his team's 6-4 win over the Twin Cities River Monsters. Trujillo belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for San Fernando in the contest. San Fernando reliever Duane Bishop was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Andrés Gonzáles. Twin Cities now owns a losing streak of 5 games.

Had Trujillo not come through in the top of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Trujillo hit a 2-run home run. The Bears took the lead, 6-4, and never looked back.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Trujillo said.
