Sharks Pocket 3-1 Win Against Buenos Aires
|
The Sydney Sharks picked up a win at Blacktown International Sportspark, courtesy of Jean-Sébastien Mangin. The right-hander helped his team stop the Buenos Aires Brisas, 3-1. The second-place Sharks bumped their record to 69-55.
Sydney catcher Takafumi Ito helped the Sharks go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Ito hit a run-scoring single off Buenos Aires pitcher Caspar Bright.
"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Ito.
