López Homers Twice in 12-7 Win
Spirited fans greeted the Jacksonville Zombies for their clash with the Austin Shredders.

Austin shortstop Arturo López played a vital role in his team's 12-7 conquest of Jacksonville. He belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for Austin. Mus'ad Amr earned the win to go to 9-5. He allowed 7 runs on 11 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work. Motuha Kalinda got credit for the save for Austin. It was his 3rd of the year.

With Austin leading 2-0 in the top of the second, López hit a cutter from Nelson Thompson for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 5-0.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," López said. "We did a good job of that today."
