Pharaohs 7-4 Winners Over Sao Paulo
|
The Cairo Pharaohs handed the Sao Paulo Pilots a loss at Ballpark of Bucharest. The final score was 7-4. Reece Biddick was one of the major contributors for Cairo. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 3. Craig Moore was the winner. Over 5 innings, he yielded 2 runs on 3 hits, with 5 walks and 4 strikeouts. Tashfin Gitonga got credit for the save for Cairo. It was his 34th of the year.
Biddick had a key at-bat for Cairo in the top of the second. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and gave Cairo an early 3-0 lead.
"It feels good to get this one," Biddick told the Cairo Gazette.
