The London Monarchs could not turn a fine performance from first baseman Lee Bundy into a win. Instead, the Moscow Thunder Bears prevailed, 9-7. Bundy went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The 4th-place Thunder Bears now have a record of 52-88.

Eustachio Columbo hit a run-scoring double off Masuhiro Ishida in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Thunder Bears in front, 6-5. In addition to the double, Columbo had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Thunder Bears manager Brayden Bonaddio. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
