The Tokyo Pearls outlasted Cecil Clarke and the Buenos Aires Brisas, 10-8. Clarke was impressive in the loss. The Buenos Aires designated hitter went 3-6 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was Asir Suoud. His record now stands at 4-9. The right-hander went 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits for the Pearls. Lamar Kraus closed the door for Tokyo, picking up his 7th save of the year.

In the bottom of the second, Tokyo designated hitter Holleb Pajdosz had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and no one out, Pajdosz stroked a 2-run single to left.
