Tokyo third baseman Tristan Lloyd helped his team beat the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers, 5-3. Lloyd, who is tied for 9th in the GBC in RBI with 80, went 2 for 4 for the Pearls. Feheen MacKenrick, the winner, is now 9-4. He struck out 5 and walked 2 over 5 innings, while allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. Rodney Keeley closed out the game, earning his 6th save.
Early in the game, Lloyd had a 2-run home run for Tokyo. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Pearls on top, 2-0.
"Right now, things are falling our way," said Tokyo manager Tiljad Mwarania.
Tokyo leads the GBC EurAsia Division by 9 games.
