London Stadium was rocking after an exciting Monarchs win.

In a low-scoring affair between the London Monarchs and the Athens Fighting Centaurs, pitcher Mahmut Binark was the difference between victory and defeat. The London right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Monarchs win. The last-place Fighting Centaurs now sit at 49-92.

The Monarchs were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 24-year old right fielder Pablo Gamboa landed a big blow. He turned a 1-0 curveball from Pat Rhodes into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the London Stadium denizens into a frenzy and sent the Monarchs home with a thrilling 3-2 win.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Raoul de Braber.
