Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Twin Cities River Monsters take on the San Fernando Bears.

The San Fernando Bears handed the Twin Cities River Monsters a 6-3 defeat at Land O' Lakes Ballpark. Catcher Masakado Matsunaga starred for San Fernando. He hit 2 home runs. The Bears sit in 5th place in the Frick League Pacific Division with a record of 44-42.
