Bombers Earn 2-0 Home Win
|
Not everyone stuck through the 53-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.
Starting pitcher David Molina gave the Rosenblatt Bombers a rock-solid effort. The Banning, California native helped his team defeat the Atlantic City Gamblers, 2-0, at Mordonez Ballpark. Aaron Stevens got the save, his 3rd in 3 chances.
The Bombers got a big at-bat from third baseman Jesús Llado. For the game, Llado was 1-4 with a triple. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave Rosenblatt a 1-0 lead.
"Everything felt in sync," said Molina.
With the win, Rosenblatt has a record of 45-37. Atlantic City falls to 47-36.
