The Twin Cities River Monsters picked up a win at The Basilica at Muskrat Slough, knocking off the Sacramento Mad Popes, 4-3. On the mound for Twin Cities was right-hander Enzo Bouton. He played a key role in the triumph. The winning pitcher was Bouton, now 3-5. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 5 and fanning 7. The victory gives Twin Cities a record of 46-37.

Twin Cities used a clutch at-bat from Octávio Sánchez to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the River Monsters ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
